On 22 and 23 September, the eXYSTAT team held a seminar: two days in Tours to take a step back, share ideas and look to the future.
On the agenda for Tuesday afternoon, Julie Le Boulicaut and Francois Montestruc shared their vision for eXYSTAT by 2030: to remain a leading name in biometrics amongst biotech, medtech and academic organisations, whilst retaining what sets us apart – an approach that is both artisanal and innovative. AI will be able to automate some of the technical work, but communication, project management and client relations will remain at the heart of our business.
This topic was followed by a round-table discussion on AI: everyone shared a project they’d worked on over the last three months, whether in biostatistics or data management. It was a chance to reflect on just how much has already changed in our working practices.
On the subject of customer satisfaction, Laure Kienner, Mickael Borne et Matthieu Marchand presented our new feedback form and the associated action plan. Our aim is to listen at an early stage, take concrete action and become a true partner for our clients.
In the evening, there was a change of pace with a guided tour of Tours led by a musketeer!
On Wednesday morning, we got back to basics with a training session on Quality and Validation of Computerised Systems: regulations, GAMP 5, risk management and lessons learnt from Warning Letters. Emilie COMBALOT et Jérémie Lespinasse rounded off the morning with two real-life case studies: the validation of our EDC tools and that of R.
Thank you to the whole team for these two days!
